Eric Loomis was born and raised in Quincy, Washington. He grew up on the family farm. During the off season he would duck hunt and salmon fish on the Columbia River. After high school and college, while doing custom farm work, he decided to start a guide business for duck hunting. Four years into guiding, he went on a vacation to Alaska. And decided that was the life for him. He went home, packed his stuff and drove up to begin his fishing guide adventure. Eric has never looked back. He loves Alaska and the Kenai river. Fishing for King salmon is his calling.
When Eric’s folks, John and Linda, sold the family farm, they joined their son in Alaska. John began guiding the following summer and you can’t keep him off the river.
Kasey grew up in Oregon on the Burk family farm. Number 3 of 4 girls, she always loved being outdoors. After college, she had an opportunity to go to Alaska to work for a few months. Well 10 years later she is still here. In 2006 she started guided for a fly out charter company and moved to the Kenai River a couple years later. She still likes to guide fly outs, but loves to fish the Kenai.
Here at Eric Loomis Fishing, we offer our clients comfortable 20 foot custom built Willie Predator power boats and 20 foot drift boats to fish from. We take pride in our gear and fish with only the best equipment. From G Loomis rods all the way to the Shimano reels. We provide all the tackle you will need for your fishing trip. We fish anything from quickfish to our special recipe eggs, Eric is pink to his elbows in the summer, but you can be sure you are fishing with the best bait.
